In Europe , printing started in the 15th century and the government then started trying to control what was printed. Originally the first copyright laws were to control what was printed. Over the years they have turned into protecting a persons’ works. People everywhere have always thought that copyright laws were to protect them, but if they go back to the original motives they would see that these licenses were another form of control.
As technology and internet access progresses, the act of plagiarism will become more and more difficult to catch. In the years to come, plagiarism will become almost non-existent. The only thing that will require a copyright will be written works, and with the increase of internet use books sources are becoming used less. Copyright laws are also becoming enforced less and less. As we’ve seen in the many Youtube video remixes there are a many people who are abiding by the copyright law.
