Bad Problem, Good Results

As Americans we believe that the cost of living is higher here than it is in other countries, when in reality it is not. Americans expect to live comfortably while people of other countries just want to live. Americans don’t believe children should work in sweatshops here, but they will proudly where products made in sweatshops by children of other countries. While forcing children to get a job is unacceptable, having them work is not.

A job teaches a person responsibility because they are making sure their families can eat. It also teaches them time management with the set time to get to work and the set amount of work that they have to get done before the day is done. More and more American children continue to get in trouble, with jobs they would have less time to get in trouble. As Americans we are more focused on our kids going to school, but most people don’t care what they really learn. Education is very important, but school cannot teach a person everything that they need to know. So fair trade would be acceptable.
